AQS Quilt Show & Contest – Grand Rapids
August 22 – 25, 2012

The maker(s) of a cloth quilt can enter their completed work, according the rules of the AQS Quilt Contest. More than $44,000 in cash awards will be given to the prizewinning quilts.

The quilt judged to be the Best of Show will receive $10,000; $5,000 each will be awarded for the Best Hand Workmanship, Best Machine Workmanship, and Best Longarm Workmanship quilts in the contest. $3,000 will be awarded to the Best Wall Quilt. In each of the five categories, $1,500 will be awarded for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $750 for third place.

The deadline for entering the Grand Rapids Quilt Contest is May 7, 2012. Entries can be submitted any time before that date!
