Any quiltmaker can enter a quilt they made, according the rules of the AQS Quilt Contest. More than $120,000 in cash awards will be given to the prizewinning quilts in this contest.

The Janome Best of Show award is $20,000, and $12,000 each for the AQS Hand Workmanship, Bernina Machine Workmanship, and the APQS Longarm Workmanship awards. In addition, the Moda Best Wall Quilt award is $5,000, and $3,000 each for the Coats & Clark Wall Hand Workmanship award, Brother Wall Machine Workmanship award, and Handi Quilter Wall Longarm Workmanship award. The Benartex Best Miniature award is $3,000. Plus the first, second, and third place quilts in 14 categories receive $1,500, $1,000, and $750, respectively. In miniatures, the category winners receive $500, $300, and $200.

The deadline for entering the Paducah Quilt Contest is January 2, 2013. Notifications will be mailed on or before March 1, 2013.  Entries can be submitted anytime before that date!
